After-School Activities Cancelled |
Due
to the expected change in weather conditions for this evening, all activities
(Elementary and Secondary) (Home and Away) in Yorkville C.U.S.D. #115 are cancelled
and rescheduled for a later date. The YHSA Eighth Grade Curriculum Night scheduled
for tonight has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 16th at 7:00 PM. This
cancellation includes Financial Night at the Main Campus and Evening Course Selection
Counselor Appointments.

course selection process for the 2010-2011 school year will soon be upon us. This
is an exciting time for our students as they continue to plan for their future.
It is our greatest hope that you will review our curriculum guide when it becomes
available to your son/daughter and discuss course options with your student. We
are encouraging parents/guardians to arrange appointments with your student's
Guidance Counselor to help you and your student select courses and make informed

Sports Boosters Dinner Dance |
| Please
come and support the Yorkville Sports Boosters and the YHS sports programs at
our Annual Dinner Dance held at the Yorkville American Legion on Saturday, March
13, 2010. As always, it will be a fun-filled night with dinner, cash bar, music
(DJ), silent auction, and raffles. Tickets are $20.00 per person with this form
or $25.00 at the door. Once your order is received, you will be sent a receipt
with a confirmation number via e-mail. You will be able to pick up your tickets
at the door at the night of the event, in “Will Call” fashion. Tickets
are limited so hurry and order yours now!! To ensure that your tickets will be

to I.M.E.A. All-State Musicians |
Congratulations
to the following musicians who represented Yorkville High School recently at the
I.M.E.A. All-State Conference in Peoria: Daniel Gallagher/Honors Band, Devin Johnston/All-State
Chorus, Meredith Olson/All-State Chorus, and Kree Sullivan/Honors Chorus. They
are among the top high school musicians in the state of Illinois. We could not
be more proud of their achievements. Thanks to their teachers for helping them
to reach this goal.
